Plumbing issues:
all the supply lines were hidden with shark bite connectors absolutely no no
Drain lines were pitched wrong and wouldn’t drain
Vents were connected incorrectly and leaking at the roof
Framing:
Majority of framing wasn’t nailed was just floating in the wall
Ceiling joists we’re just laid on the wall and on top of the existing drywall ceiling
Drywall screwed to the house (supposed to be nailed acres THEN hung drywall)
Tile:
Shower was only 20 inches deep inside new shower is 4 feet
Shower base was installed with no membrane and leaked around drain into ceiling below
Floor tile that original contractor removed and replaced was installed with construction adhesive not thin set
Wall tile shower was just applied over drywall and therefore shower was leaking everywhere
Electrical issues:
Attic while checking for vents we found electrical work previous contractor done and junction boxes were uncovered and overloaded could start a fire, one of the boxes was hot
Fixed by rewiring
Bathtub:
Installed decorative strip, previous guy put tub filler (faucet) on outside wall and did not insulate bad because this faucet will freeze in the wintertime, we had no way to get to it except open wall and spray foam it, repair wall and retile it.
Problems:
leaking into kitchen.
Water pressure was bad
Pressure at street was 60 pounds
Pressure issue was due to piece of drywall stuck in the main line
